I went to Quail botanical garden when I was traveling with my aunt in San Diego. I actually planned to go Universal Studio on the last day in L.A. but changed my mind after I realized that my aunt loves flowers and plants much more than movies. :p It turned out that changing my mind at the last moment was one of the great decision and we spent great time at this garden. I was surprised to see various plants that I'd never seen before and felt happy while learning names of those interesting speices.

Also, it's been just three or four days since I bought my digital SLR camera so I really wanted to try taking macro shots of flowers. I was wondered how my camera can grap a close object while blowing up backgrounds. I brought a lens called Zuniko 14-42mm f3.5/5.6 which was a bundle lens came with the camera. Followings are the pictures taken at the garden. :)
